We appreciate them because they help us understand our users and inform the product development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the popular feature requests is a WhatsApp integration that would allow users to reply to WhatsApp messages from Chatra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, you cannot reply to your WhatsApp messages from Chatra, but <strong>you can still give your customers an option to chat with you via WhatsApp. And what\u2019s better \u2014 this option is completely free!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to let your customers chat with you via WhatsApp<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you sign up for a <em>free <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.whatsapp.com\/business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WhatsApp Business app<\/a>, it generates a short link that allows your customers to chat with you. Here\u2019s how you can use it in Chatra:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Open your WhatsApp Business app and go to <em>Settings \u2192 Business tools<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Tap <em>Short link<\/em> to view the generated link. It looks like this: <a href=\"https:\/\/wa.me\/message\/XXXXXXXXXXXX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/wa.me\/message\/XXXXXXXXXXXX<\/a>, where XXXXXXXXXXXX is your unique ID.<\/li><li>Copy the link and go to your <a href=\"https:\/\/app.chatra.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chatra dashboard<\/a>.<\/li><li>Use the code <code>[link text](full link address)<\/code> to add a WhatsApp hyperlink anywhere in the widget.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>When using this code, make sure there is no space between the ] and ( symbols, or it will not be converted into a hyperlink.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you can add the link in the <a href=\"https:\/\/app.chatra.io\/settings\/integrations\/widget\">chat widget texts<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"655\" src=\"https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot1-1024x655.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-687\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot1-1024x655.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot1-300x192.jpg 300w, https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot1-768x491.jpg 768w, https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot1.jpg 1056w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Or you can include the link in the <a href=\"https:\/\/app.chatra.io\/settings\/scripts\">chatbot scenario<\/a>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"655\" src=\"https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot2-1024x655.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-688\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot2-1024x655.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot2-300x192.jpg 300w, https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot2-768x491.jpg 768w, https:\/\/chatra.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/whatsappscreenshot2.jpg 1056w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This code can be used in all the widget texts: you can use it in <a href=\"https:\/\/app.chatra.io\/settings\/actions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">automatic triggers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/app.chatra.io\/settings\/bot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contact form bot texts<\/a>, and regular messages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note that this will not deliver WhatsApp messages to Chatra.
