We always work on improving Chatra, and your feedback gives us ideas on what to do next. Recently we’ve made some updates in design and functionality and would like to share them with you.
Pre-chat Avatars
Our widget now has a face! Chatra shows up to 3 random avatars of agents online, so your visitors could see who they write to.
Don’t forget to upload your. real. photo. to make Chatra more inviting.
Chat Transcripts
Get chat transcripts in your inbox or help desk after every conversation. To enable this, please go to «Set up & customize» and enter the email address you want the transcripts to be sent to.
You can enter several emails in the field, just make sure to separate them by commas. If there’s an email address in the visitor information, you’ll be able to reply directly to your customers.
Slack Integration
Receive chat transcripts and new chat notifications in your favourite Slack channels. To enable the integration, go to «Integrations» tab.
We recommend to use separate channels for transcripts and incoming chats notifications to keep everything in order. Now there’s no need to log into your dashboard every time: you can be aware of everything that’s going on in Chatra even if you’re offline.
Google Analytics integration
Get the insight into Chatra performance with data from Google Analytics. No need to set up anything, the events are sent automatically. The event reports can be seen in «Reports» → «Behavior» → «Events» → «Top Events». In the «Event Category» section you will find «Chatra» category. If you are interested in particular events (for example, to see how well triggers are performing), you can create Goals for additional tracking.
Webhooks
A special option for developers: integrate Chatra into third-party apps via webhooks.
