We want to share a quick Chatra update.
First of all, a little over a week ago we presented our new Chatra Bot – a great tool to welcome visitors, collect their contact and other details.
Thanks to your valuable feedback, we’ve just made editing the bot texts possible. Just go to the Chatra Bot page in Chatra, scroll all the way down and click “Bot phrases”, and you will be able to edit all phrases easily.
As it says at the top, you can clear the fields to restore our default texts. If your widget is multilingual, don’t forget to edit the texts in all languages by clicking on a language icon under the text fields.
Group selection
Moving on, it is now possible to let your visitors select a group they want to talk to before they start chatting. To do so, enable the “Ask visitors to select a group” option on the Groups page.
You can also add a “not sure” option to your list of groups by enabling the corresponding option. If a visitor selects it, the conversation will be assigned to all agents online.
Visitors won’t be asked to choose a group if:
1) You have fewer than 2 public (non-private) groups created on the Groups page;
2) The visitor has already been assigned to a group by a targeted chat or via our API;
3) A visitor is replying to a targeted chat sent on behalf of an agent.
Well, that’s it for today! This update may not seem like a big deal, but these features were very frequently asked for, and we hope they will make Chatra even better.
As always, don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
