Today we are going to tell you about push notifications in Chatra.
Non-intrusive push notification
If you chat from your PC and receive a new chat, there will be a 30 seconds delay until the notification shows up on your phone. If you read the chat within 30 seconds, there will be no notification at all.
If you click on “Start chatting here” button on your phone, push notifications will appear immediately with no delay.
Repeat push notification
If you don’t answer a chat request, it will appear in the queue for all agents online and all of them will receive push notifications. If the chat was assigned to a particular agent, this agent will receive a second push with a text symbol [R] (repeat):
Auto-offline
If you don’t open the application within 3 minutes after a new chat request comes, the system will automatically set you offline and send you a notification:
You can change the time or turn this feature off completely in your Account tab.
To stay online you just need to open the application. It’s not necessary to read chats or reply. It works both for desktop and mobile apps.
Please note that the status change works for the whole account — it’s enough to change your status on one of your devices to go online or offline.
