Summertime has just ended, but we already have an announcement about an important change in the mobile user experience in Chatra:
- Chat window now opens in the same tab as your website on tablets and smartphones
- Targeted chats now work for mobile users too

Click on a chat button, send your message and minimize the chat box by clicking on X. No new windows, all works in the same tab.
Targeted chats now work on mobile devices too. For not to ruin the mobile user experience, chat window won’t pop up on a visitor’s phone. Instead, a new message notification badge will appear on a chat button.
Needless to say, the badge will also appear if a visitor receives a new message from you. They don’t have to keep a chat window open waiting for your reply to be notified.
