Yaakov is the co-founder of Chatra and a customer support enthusiast.
Customer support has always been a part of Yaakov’s life. He started working with clients back in his high school days when he was helping people to build and repair personal computers. After graduating high school, he went to the university to research and study business, and then started his first company, Getwear, and online-only tailored denim brand. Excellent customer service has always been a priority in Getwear, and during the few years of running a company, Yaakov solved numerous customer issues and learned a lot of things about customer success. It all eventually led him to launch chatra.com, an innovative live chat software company that currently has tens of thousands of customers all over the world.
He’s authored and co-authored dozens of blog posts and a number of books, where he’s sharing the experience he gained all over the years on various aspects of customer service. His writing has been featured in top industry publications and his books are available at Amazon.
Yaakov has been an entrepreneur-in-residence at WeWork Labs and a mentor in the number of the other startup incubators.
