Chatra allows you to chat with your customers, view the list of customers who are currently online on your store and start a conversation manually or via configurable automatic targeted messages.

Chatra Bot collects contact information when you are offline or unavailable to chat, so that you can get back to customers even if they left your site.

How to add Chatra to your store

To add the chat widget to your store, sign up with Chatra:

If you already have an account, follow these simple steps:

1. Download the Chatra plugin from the CS-Cart marketplace.
2. Unzip the downloaded file. It contains two folders (“app", “var”).
3. Connect to your CS-Cart website via any FTP-client.
4. Copy both folders “app" and “var” to the root folder of CS-Cart.
5. Log into your CS-Cart admin panel and open the Add-ons → Manage add-ons menu.
6. Go to Browse all available add-ons section and find Chatra Live Chat plugin in the list. Press Install.
7. Once again, find Chatra Live Chat plugin in the new list of plugins, press the edit button and choose Settings.
8. Go to the Chat Widget section of your Chatra dashboard in another browser tab and copy the ChatraID parameter from the widget code. The parameter looks like this: ChatraID = "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX", where XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is what you need to copy.
9. Go back to the CS-Cart console and paste the parameter into the Chatra ID field.
10. Press the Save button in the bottom right corner.
11. Done!
